Take the 2026 Community Health Assessment Survey
The Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) has launched Allegheny County’s next Community Health Assessment (CHA). A CHA gives local health departments like ACHD comprehensive information about the community’s current health status, needs, and issues.
When the study is complete, the CHA will serve as a living document of community health data to be used by local organizations and residents to support decision-making, grant-making, and health improvement strategies in Allegheny County. The CHA will be used to design the next Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) also known as the Plan for a Healthier Allegheny (PHA), which will outline goals and strategies to improve the health and well-being of all Allegheny County residents.
