Teen Education Program

The Allegheny County Health Department’s Teen Education Program provides engaging, developmentally appropriate education sessions for youth across Allegheny County. These presentations are designed to support teens with reliable information that helps them make safer and healthier decisions. The Teen Education Program is intended to provide young people with information in a supportive, accessible, and developmentally appropriate way. The program's goal is to help youth build knowledge, strengthen decision-making skills, and better understand topics that affect their health and well-being.
Sessions are available for teens entering 8th to 12th grades. These interactive presentations are currently offered as one-time sessions lasting about 45 minutes, though they can be adapted to fit different scheduling needs. Shorter sessions may be available when time is limited, and longer sessions can be provided upon request.
