The Office of Analytics and Technology supports policy development, quality improvement, planning and decision-making through research, analysis and engagement to improve the delivery of human services to Allegheny County's most vulnerable residents.
The Office of Analytics and Technology leads efforts to strengthen the use of analytics and technology at DHS, including:
Allegheny Analytics An information hub to better understand issues affecting Allegheny County residents.
Allegheny County Data Warehouse Integrates client and service data from a wide variety of sources both internal and external to the county.
Community Counts An annual initiative to capture important information about homelessness in the area.
Family Screening Tool A predictive risk model that supports child welfare call screeners and supervisors in deciding how to respond to reports of suspected child abuse or neglect.
QuickCount Allows users to find the number of participants in a wide range of social services and systems in Allegheny County.
