War Memorials
Pittsburgh and the surrounding neighborhoods have many war monuments, honor rolls and memorials recognizing the contribution of military veterans dating back to the Civil War.
Southwestern PA World War II Memorial
Located on North Shore Drive near the Allegheny River. Installed in 2013 and funded by a mix of private and public funding.
Vietnam Memorial
The Vietnam Memorial has been installed on the North Shore since 1987, situated along the river-walk between the baseball and football sporting venues and overlooking the confluence of Pittsburgh's three rivers.
War Veterans Monument
Located at the former Greater Pittsburgh International Airport on Business Route 60.

Civil War Monuments
Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum is the nation’s only military museum dedicated to honoring the men and women of all branches of service, and in all capacities (Active, Reserve, Guard). Exhibits display military artifacts and personal mementos and a concert hall seats 2300 guests. It houses a classically elegant ballroom. The Gettysburg Room is dedicated to the Civil War and the Hall of Valor pays tribute to American heroes.
