The office of the County Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the county’s departments, and serves as the implementation arm of the Allegheny County Executive.
The County Manager and appointed deputies ensure that all county employees are empowered with the resources they need to effectively and efficiently serve the local community, businesses, institutions, and other government agencies to the best of their abilities, to meet their goals and initiatives, and to implement the policies and procedures required by the Administrative Code.
