Victor Joseph
Assistant Superintendent Joseph began his career with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police in 1995 as a beat officer out of the Zone 2 Station in the Hill District. He was transferred to Zone 3 Station in the South Side where he worked as a patrol officer and later as a plain clothes officer.
In 1999 he was transferred to the Investigations Branch where he served as a Narcotics Detective. In 2009 he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and assigned to Zone 2 Station.
In 2014 he was transferred back to the Investigations Branch as the Lieutenant of the Major Crimes Division. In 2017 he was promoted to the rank of Commander and remained in Major Crimes.
In 2021 Assistant Superintendent Joseph retired from the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and joined the command staff of the Allegheny County Police.
