Inspector Todd Dolfi

Inspector Todd Dolfi is assigned as the Detective Division Commander.

Inspector Dolfi began his career in law enforcement with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington DC in 2004 where he served as a patrol officer in the 7th District. In 2007, he joined the Allegheny County Police serving as a patrol officer in District 2. In 2011 he was transferred to the Investigative Division as a detective assigned to the General Investigations Section. In 2013, he was transferred to the Homicide Unit.

In 2018, Inspector Dolfi was promoted to sergeant and assigned to District 2 as a patrol supervisor. In 2020, he was transferred to the Investigative Division as the unit supervisor for General Investigations. Also in 2020, he was transferred back to Homicide as the unit supervisor where he stayed until 2026 when he was promoted to Inspector. Inspector Dolfi also serves as the Child Abduction Response Team (CART) Commander.

Inspector Dolfi holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from La Roche University.
