Ice Skating and Hockey
The North and South Park Ice Rinks are now closed - thanks for an amazing season!
Allegheny County’s ice rinks in North Park and South Park are open every winter for lessons, stick time and hockey clinics, and public skating sessions. Skaters of all ages and skill levels are welcome.
Hours
Ice rinks are open through mid-March, weather and conditions permitting. Open stick time sessions are only offered on Mondays and Wednesdays, as bolded below.

Skate rental size ranges from toddler's size 6 through men's size 14 (no half sizes).
Skate walkers available free of cost, upon request and availability.
Group Rates
Group rates are available with a 24-hour advance notice for groups of 20 or more. The group rate discount is $1.00 off per person, and is not available for Friday or Saturday night sessions.
Programs
Both ice rinks offer several ice skating and hockey programs for ages 3 and older. Registration is required for each class.
