Showmobile

The Showmobile is a portable outdoor stage available for rental throughout the Allegheny County area.

The Showmobile may be perfect for races or walkathons, musical performances, speaking engagements, family reunions and other events. The Showmobile is also available for group outings and events, such as scouts and youth groups, businesses, community groups, church groups, unions, and more.

Rental rates include delivery and pickup of the unit. The Showmobile may only be rented for events within Allegheny County.

Rental Conditions

The Showmobile requires access to 110v power
Sound and lighting equipment is not equipped
County events have first preference for scheduling
Reservations accepted on a first-come/first-serve basis

Insurance Requirements

The organization listed as insured on the insurance must match the organization listed on the application.
Certificate of insurance must name the County of Allegheny as the certificate holder and name County of Allegheny, its Chief Executive, officers, agents, and employees as additional insured.
Licensee shall maintain the following minimum insurance coverages throughout the Rental Term:
$ 1,000,000.00 commercial general liability per occurrence
$ 2,000,000.00 general aggregate
$ 200,000.00 damage to rented premises
$ 10,000.00 medical per person
$ 1,000,000.00 umbrella/excess liability per occurrence
Workers’ compensation at state minimum requirements

Note: For Tax-Exempt Organizations, Municipalities, and/or Non-Profits, a copy of 501c3 and/or Tax Exemption must be submitted with the applications form to receive a discount.

Application

Step 1.Complete the Rental Application Form

Submission of the application form does not guarantee rental of the Showmobile. All applications are processed in the order in which they're received. Separate application forms are required for each rental occurring in non-consecutive instances. Applications are only valid for the current calendar year.

Reservations via phone or in person are not accepted.

Step 2.Submit the Completed Application Form

Email the completed application form to showmobile@alleghenycounty.us.

Note: All applicants will receive an approval or denial email once the application has been processed.

Step 3.Approved Applicants

If a Showmobile rental application is approved, applicants must submit payment, the signed rental agreement, and satisfactory certificate of insurance at least 60 days before the rental date. Reservations are not complete until payment and all required documents are received and approved.

The Director of Parks will execute a contract for weekly rentals on behalf of the County Executive. Any additional costs realized by the county are to be reimbursed by the renter.
