Parks and Events

The Allegheny County Parks system is made up of nine beautiful parks including North Park, Boyce Park, South Park, Deer Lakes Park, Harrison Hills Park, Settlers Cabin Park, Round Hill Park, White Oak Park, and Hartwood Acres Park. Each park offers endless recreational activities and events year-round. Take advantage of the Allegheny County Parks with seasonal activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating. Ice Skating and Hockey

Allegheny County proudly offers two outdoor ice rinks—one in North Park and one in South Park. Ice skating season ranges from mid-November to mid-March (weather permitting). Find information on rink hours of operation, ice skating lessons, birthday party reservations, and more.
