The Pediatric Dental Program provides free dental treatments to children from low-income households who cannot afford private dental care. Services at the clinics include:

  • Examinations
  • Cleanings
  • Fluoride treatments
  • X-rays
  • Cavity fillings
  • Primary tooth extractions
  • Dental sealants

Community Public Health Outreach

In addition to clinics and dental sealant program, Allegheny County Health Department provides exams and fluoride treatments for approximately 700 Head Start students across the county.
