Allegheny County Music Festival

At Hartwood Acres Park Amphitheater
Sunday, September 1, 2024

The Allegheny County Music Festival is an annual benefit concert for the Allegheny County Music Festival Fund, which provides life-enriching items and opportunities for children and youth receiving services through the Department of Human Services and the Juvenile Section of the Family Division of the Court of Common Pleas. The Fund is entirely dependent upon the generosity of county residents.

This year’s festival will be headlined by two-time Tony winner Michael Cerveris performing an Evening of David Bowie backed by a 10-Piece Pittsburgh All-Star Band with special guests Scott Blasey & Rob James of The Clarks. The show will start at 5:30 pm with Valleyview, followed by Sweat at 6:30 pm. Michael Cerveris and the All-Star Band will take the stage at 7:30 pm.

Suggested donations of $20 per car will directly benefit the Allegheny County Music Festival Fund. A 50/50 raffle will also be held with proceeds benefiting the Fund.

The Allegheny County Music Festival Fund

The Allegheny County Music Festival Fund has benefited thousands of children and youth by purchasing life-enriching items and opportunities not otherwise available through traditional government sources including:

  • A week of "live-in" summer camp for at-risk young persons to allow them to engage in healthy activities outside their neighborhood.
  • Lessons in dance, karate and music, and other positive outlets for self-expression for a child who is living in a homeless shelter with his or her mother to escape domestic violence.
  • The opportunity for a child receiving mental health services to spend quality time with his or her family at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium or the National Aviary.
  • The opportunity for a young man or woman, transitioning into adulthood, to attend a college tour and set the course for his or her future.
