Deputy Warden of Administrative Operations & Employee Development

Blythe Toma

Blythe Toma was named the Deputy Warden of Administrative Operations and Employee Development at Allegheny County Jail in February 2022. Most recently, Blythe was the Manager of Administration at the jail.

Blythe started with Allegheny County in 2004 and worked at the Office of the Medical Examiner as the Quality Manager. Toma joined the jail staff in 2019 and worked to revamp the Payroll Office, IT Department, Contract Management, and Human Resources and Procurement.

Toma holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management degree from Duquesne University, where she also earned her bachelor’s degree. She is a City of Pittsburgh resident.
