The Communications Center Standard Operating Guidelines ensures that fire response personnel in Allegheny County use common terminology and dispatching practices.

This information is the result of a committee of 60 fire service leaders from across the county that met and agreed on the use of these guidelines as acceptable Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG's) for today's highly technical and skilled firefighters.
