MPER (Master Provider Enterprise Repository)

MPER is a robust, comprehensive system which all DHS staff and providers are required to use to keep all agency, facility and service information up to date. It is important for every DHS-contracted provider to keep agency information contained in the DHS MPER current at all times.

Every DHS-contracted provider must be included in the DHS Master Provider Enterprise Repository. To request a provider be entered into MPER, the Request for Provider/Vendor Set-up in MPER form(PDF, 183KB) or MPER Request for Non-contracted Concrete-goods Vendor(PDF, 98KB) must be completed.

The DHS ISAR eCAPS MPER form must be completed, signed and submitted by any provider required to have access to eCAPS and/or MPER. How to Complete an ISAR(PDF, 615KB)

MPER System

Aside from a fiscal monitoring tool, the DHS Master Provider Enterprise Repository (MPER) is the DHS source for agency contact names, phone numbers, addresses and services. This information is used for a wide variety of purposes. Keeping these records current is of critical importance to your contract with DHS. DHS also relies on MPER contact information to send crucial messages to your organization on behalf of the DHS director. To make MPER updates:

  • Step 1: Contact the agency staff person in your office who has been assigned responsibility to make updates to agency records on the MPER.
  • Step 2: Provide updates to that person.
  • Step 3: Contact the Allegheny County ServiceDesk at 412-350-HELP (4357) (option 2) with questions.
  • If you have any questions, please contact the MPER Project Team.

For DHS Staff Only

Staff may request authorization to use these systems by contacting one of the DHSRequest authorized users in their office. List of DHSRequest authorized users.(PDF, 189KB)
