County Offices Closed Monday, May 26 in Observance of Memorial Day

All Allegheny County offices, including the independently elected offices, the Courts and County Council, will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Hartwood Acres Mansion also will be closed on Monday. All offices and parks facilities will return to regular hours on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

Allegheny County Resident Linked To Multistate Outbreak of Salmonella

An Allegheny County resident has been linked to a multistate outbreak of Salmonella illnesses. Most individuals associated with this outbreak have reported contact with backyard poultry. Public health officials are gathering additional information about their potential exposures.

Part of Spring Garden Road in Reserve to Close Starting on June 2

The Department of Public Works announced today that Spring Garden Road in Reserve will close between Ramage Road and Beech Street starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025. The closure, which is expected to end in September 2025, is required for construction of a roadway support structure, roadway repairs, as well as curb and pavement marking replacement.
