Lane Closures on Browns Hill Road in Pittsburgh to Start on August 18

The Department of Public Works announced today that lane closures on Browns Hill Road between Beechwood Boulevard/Hazelwood Avenue and the Homestead Grays Bridge in Pittsburgh will start at 5 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025. The lane closures are expected to end in December. They are required for extensive concrete roadway and joint repairs, drainage improvements, and curb replacement.

Patton Street in Monroeville Reopens to Traffic

The Department of Public Works announced today that Patton Street between Monroeville Boulevard and Mt. Pleasant Drive in Monroeville has reopened to traffic earlier than expected. The closure, which began on June 9, 2025, was required to construct a retaining wall; paving; drainage improvements; and to replace signs, pavement markings, and guide rail.

Braddock Avenue/Kenmawr Avenue Ramp Project in Rankin Completed

The Department of Public Works announced today that traffic restrictions at the intersection of Braddock Avenue, Kenmawr Avenue, and Talbot Avenue in Rankin have ended, and the $9.4 million Braddock Avenue/Kenmawr Avenue ramp replacement project is now complete.
