County Executive Sara Innamorato Secures Nearly $90 Million in RACP

The Shapiro Administration and legislative leaders this week announced nearly $90 million in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) awards for 60 projects across Allegheny County, supporting investments in economic development, public safety, infrastructure, workforce development, housing, and community revitalization.

Traveling Glass Recycling

July 21, 2026

Glass bottles and jars are 100% recyclable and can be recycled for reuse endlessly without losing any quality! The traveling glass bin will be at each location for nearly a month, available daily from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. All colors of glass are accepted; containers must be empty; caps, lids, and labels are okay.

Hometown Hoops-Avalon

Hometown Hoops are free basketball mini-camps at various locations that are open to youth ages 9-18 of all skill levels. Basketball attire is required. Pre-register to get a free box lunch!
