The Allegheny County Parks system offers numerous playgrounds throughout the parks, for all ages and accessibility levels to enjoy! Playgrounds within Allegheny County Parks provide inclusive and stimulating environments for children to play and explore. With a variety of age-appropriate equipment and activities, children are encouraged to immerse themselves in the physical and imaginative aspects of play, and develop skills in social interaction and community bonding.

About Bluegrass Playground

The Bluegrass Playground in Round Hill Park is located on Hereford Drive, across the road from the free spray park. It features a lot of universally accessible play features and ramps, including swings, climbers, and lots of slides! Ample seating, shade, and nearby parking help make it a family-friendly destination for all ages. The Bluegrass Shelter, located adjacent to the playground, is a popular rental facility and has solar panels on the roof that power the electrical outlets. The large playground is a year-round attraction for Round Hill visitors.
