West Nile Virus Found in Mosquito Samples

Mosquitoes collected by the Allegheny County Health Department’s (ACHD) Vector Control Program on July 8, 2025, in six areas tested positive for West Nile Virus. Those areas include Wilkinsburg, Schenley Park, Mt. Washington, Beltzhoover, Mt. Oliver, and Hazelwood.

Executive Innamorato Launches Right to Organize Incident Report Form

Today, Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato announced the launch of a new Right to Organize Incident Report Form, now live on the Allegheny County website. The form allows workers to report incidents where their right to organize or collectively bargain may have been threatened or violated.
