COURTESY RELEASE: Warhol, McCullough Bridges to Close During Weekend

PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that it has granted permits to P3R to close the Andy Warhol (Seventh Street) Bridge and David McCullough (16th Street) Bridge in Pittsburgh during parts of this weekend.
The Andy Warhol Bridge will be closed from 6:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025 for the UPMC Health Plan/UPMC Sports Medicine Pittsburgh 5K and the Chick-fil-A Pittsburgh Kids Marathon.
The David McCullough Bridge will be closed from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 4, 2025 for the DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon, UPMC Health Plan Pittsburgh Half Marathon, and FedEx Pittsburgh Marathon Relay.

Please note that Public Works has also permitted the Pittsburgh Pirates to close the Roberto Clemente (Sixth Street) Bridge from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025 and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, 2025. The Rachel Carson (Ninth Street) Bridge will remain open throughout the weekend.
