Allegheny County Council is the legislative branch of the county government, consisting of fifteen elected officials serving four-year terms. Thirteen members are elected by district and two elected county-wide, per the Allegheny County Home Rule Charter.
Allegheny County Council holds Regular Meetings for Council Members in-person twice monthly on Tuesdays at 5:00 pm at the Allegheny County Courthouse Gold Room (4th floor) at 436 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. Participants can attend Regular Meetings in person or watch via Livestream or YouTube.

In person: Council meetings are open to the public. Individuals wishing to speak must sign up at least 24 hours before the meeting and will receive three minutes to speak on any county-related matter.
Online: If you do not want to appear in person, use the online form to submit comments before the meeting. They will be sent to all Members of Council and included in the official meeting minutes for that meeting.
